It’s been a little while since we’ve implemented the necessary measures so we can continue living and operating while maintaining safe boundaries. While we look forward to the day when life can return to something less stressful we know that the only way to get there is to keep the store a safe and healthy space for our staff and customers.
If you are sick, have returned from travel outside the country, or otherwise have symptoms that may be related to COVID-19, please stay home and observe proper self isolation measures.
As a reminder, these are the following measures we’re taking:
Tuesday to Saturday: 10am – 6pm. On Sundays and Mondays we are closed.
CURB-SIDE PICK UP
We are still offering curb-side pick-up during our open hours if you are not yet comfortable coming into the store. Call us ahead of time so we can have your order ready when you arrive.
We are allowing one person or up to 4 people shopping together in the store at a time. Due to the size and layout of the store, it is difficult to maintain proper social distancing if we allow more people in at a time.
NO CHILDREN UNDER 12
Alberta Health recommends only one person in a family go shopping. As much as we adore seeing your children, we do not have appropriate PPE for anyone under 12 years old. (The only exception is a carried infant; no strollers at this time, please.)
GLOVES AND MASKS
You’ll see WFL staff wearing masks. City bylaw concerning masks are in affect. Masks will be mandatory. We are requiring all customers to sanitize their hands upon entry and put on gloves (which we provide). We have many products, such as our bulk stones, that cannot be safely sanitized without damaging them.
INCREASED CLEANING MEASURES
We have introduced thorough cleaning measures, as set out by Alberta Health. High-touch surfaces are cleaned multiple times throughout the day and between customers. Due to these cleaning measures, we cannot offer a public restroom at this time.
We will not have any in-house readers during this time. If you are looking for a reading, we can provide you with the contact information for readers who are doing distance readings over the phone or in parks.
PAYMENT AND RETURNS
If possible, please pay with a card. We have a tap-enabled reader. We are still taking cash if necessary. All sales are final. We are no longer accepting returns.
